What to wear: Campers should wear normal play clothes, socks, and tennis shoes. No sandals please. Bring a bathing suit (one piece for girls) and a towel for "water days." It is a good idea to put sunscreen on your child before they come to camp and then place extra sunscreen in their bag. Please let your counselor know if your child is extremely sensitive to the sun. And lastly, write your child's name on all items.
Water Day: This year campers will enjoy our new and improved "Pre-Camper" friendly "water days" once a week. This will include splash pools, sprinklers, water toys. You will receive your class schedule before camp begins to notify you which day your camper should be prepared for water fun!
What to eat: Bring an insulated lunch box with freezer block and water bottle. Lunch is provided on Wednesday for M/W session and on Thursday for T/TH session. If you would like to bring a special snack you can sign up with your child's teacher. No Peanut/Nut products will be allowed at camp or in camp lunches. Please do not include any peanut products in any of the items that your camper will bring to camp.
Camp Merchandise: Your child will receive one camp T-shirt for the summer. Additional shirts are available by purchasing them on Monday or Tuesday morning or sending money with your child. Other camp merchandise, such as water bottles, hats, key chains, backpacks and other fun souvenirs may be purchased through the Canteen located in the Pavilion, or at morning registration and at the final assembly. Campers can use their Camp Bucks (Sibling Vouchers) at any time the Canteen is open! We have a wide variety of cool things that your kids will love.
Monday & Tuesday Morning Registration: Watch for signs in the parking lot directing you to Kidstown. Then look for signs that explain the check-in process. There will also be counselors available to assist you.
