Do you qualify?
All lifeguard applicants must have completed their Junior or Senior year in high school. All freshmen and sophomores can apply for the Camp All-American Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program . In order to be considered for a lifeguarding position, all applicants must fill out an application online, attend a required interview on April 14th, be available to work at least 8 of 10 weeks during the summer, and be available to go through a 40 hour Lifeguard training in late May (see dates and times below).

What will each day look like?
Lifeguards will be assigned to a specific shift (8am-5pm or 9am-6pm). Along with making sure that all campers and counselors are safe while swimming, lifeguards will be responsible for keeping the pool and pool house bathrooms clean, daily meetings with leadership, and helping out wherever needed around the pool area. Our desire is also to create an environment for personal spiritual growth throughout the summer, so daily and weekly meetings will be led to help each lifeguard grow in their walk with the Lord. Being a lifeguard is a great transition from the Crew to being a counselor.
